Rethink Sustainability

Alongside with the latest Sustainable Food and Hospitality Event, we have collaborated with Healthy and Sustainable Food - co founded by Barbara Bray MBE, Jacqui Green and Mark Driscoll, to look into the different aspects of the sustainable food system via the channel of broadcast!

In the May 2022 broadcast, they have discussed the role of agroecology and regenerative agriculture in healthy and sustainable food systems. With recent events such as the COVID pandemic and the war in Ukraine causing huge disruptions in our food supply chain, they asked the question on whether agroecology can improve the resilience of our food systems as well as reduce it’s environmental impact.

It was joined by guest speakers Sue Pritchard, CEO at the Food, Farming and Countryside Commission (FFCC), and Robin Sundaram, Responsible Sourcing Manager at Nestle. One of their founding members, Barbara Bray, hosted this episode and Amy Culliford was on hand to help with logistics.
